Safety First
ONE MONTANA IS TAKING MEASURES TO ENSURE ALL OF OUR EMPLOYEES AND STAKEHOLDERS STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY AND THAT OUR PROGRAMS ARE COMPLIANT WITH CURRENT CDC PROTOCOLS AND POLICIES.
We have designed specific protocols for 1MT’s program design, structure and mission that will be in place for any in-person programming. Following the CDC guidance for responding to COVID-19, we base our program protocols on the following mitigation strategies:
Remote training whenever possible or appropriate
Conduct only essential activities in public space
Limit the number of people gathering in one space to 10 or less
Prioritize physical distancing of 6 ft. whenever possible
Ensure staff, instructors and participants members perform personal protective measures (handwashing, masks, behaviors)
Consistently disinfecting of all work spaces, tables, chairs and equipment
Implement pre-arrival and exit assessments of exposure and risk (taking temperatures on arrival)
Daily health and symptom check
Assess projects for alignment with COVID-19 safety in mind
Plan for possible outbreaks and provide COVID-19 emergency evacuation procedures for every hitch.
What we are doing:
1MT Responds to Covid-19
One Montana works to bridge the urban rural divide and build resiliency and vibrancy in our communities through relationships. With the event of Covid-19 we have added to our regular program work to support landowners with a variety of needs including:
Connecting them to markets
Facilitating donations to foodbanks
Activating volunteers to help with weed control, fence building, planting cottonwoods and a host of other projects.
Helping to assess and develop solutions to local food supply challenges, particularly related to beef processing.
LET US KNOW HOW WE CAN HELP YOU.
Do you have food that needs to be sold or want to donate? Do any of you have ditches that need to be cleaned out? Weeds that need to be taken care of?
Conifers that need to be cut down?
Trees to be planted?
